For Autumn Winter 2024, we explore the intersection between Team Goya’s daily work life at our atelier and the fierce creative forces at the heart of the brand for a collection entitled ‘ART.WORK’.

Art lies at the very heart of our brand and drives everything we do. Born from Stine’s personal love for art, our prints have long been hand-painted and reimagined onto fabrics, creating unique and arresting patterns. Stine’s extensive art collection ignites daily inspiration, as does our beloved House Of Goya community, which is filled with artists and creative personalities alike. This season is a true celebration of our deep connection with the art world and the creative forces that drive it.

Transforming our atelier into a gallery space, an exclusive exhibition by British-born, Copenhagen-based artist David Risley sets the scene for our AW24 show with a series of paintings that capture the personalities, emotions, colours and clothes that form our Goya universe. We invite the audience into our daily workspace to observe the paintings and absorb the portrayals of the faces that make our brand so unique.

“I have always been a huge fan of David’s work. I love how he translates organic and tender moments into beautiful works of art. I have built my brand around my love for art and the personalities who move within that space. It has been my biggest inspiration since I can remember. I am now incredibly proud to have grown and developed a team that understands and translates my vision into captivating pieces of clothing. We are a collective who believe in living a more colourful life. I believe David has captured exactly that.” - Stine Goya, Creative Director

“I was keen to work with Stine because I knew about her love of art. The way they work is cool, with lots of prints, textures and patterns. I love the way they use colour without fear. A lot of the designs are hand-painted, and I liked the idea of repainting their paintings in my own work. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the various members of her team, getting to know each of them as individuals, and portraying their unique personalities. I tried to capture small moments in time around the beautiful space of the atelier; I’ve made portraits of the people there as well as details of the space and the clothes, creating a unique representation of the beating heart of Stine Goya as a brand and just some of the team members who bring the brand to life.” - David Risley, Artist
